Since its creation, Mancha Real Obras has considered Occupational Health and Safety in the Workplace an essential point within its activity, assuming same as one of its fundamental values. In this regard, adhering to its corporate social responsibility, Mancha Real Obras continues to involve all its personnel and the personnel of the subcontractor companies, furnishing same with all the necessary material resources which enable continuous improvement in working conditions, in order to raise the level of protection and occupational safety and health. This responsibility is embodied in a Prevention and Occupational Health and Safety Policy which exceeds the requirements stipulated in prevailing legislation and whose guidelines are summarised in the following points:
– Implementation and undertaking of safety systems pursuant to prevailing legislation.
– Permanent training and information on the prevention of occupational health and safety risks of all employees of the company. A requirement which will be mandatory for any subcontractor company.
– The continuous improvement of the Prevention and Occupational Health and Safety Plans, being constantly updated.
– In this regard, a Prevention of Occupational Health and Safety Risks Management System is being implemented, brought into line with the OSHAS 18001: 2007 international specifications.
The personnel of Mancha Real Obras is composed of a group of technicians in Occupational Health and Safety Risk Prevention which includes all levels, from advanced to basic (Preventive Resources), covering the three possible technical specialties: Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
